Project
Volpak designs and manufactures packaging machinery for products which use flexible packaging, casing machines and boxing machines. Its customers are from the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic sectors and the company enjoys a 30% market share. It exports 95% of its production to Europe, Latin America, the United States and Asia.
Towards the end of 1996, Volpak was bought out by the Italian multinational GD, allowing it to consolidate its international presence.
In 2003, it moved to a new industrial plant in the Can Vinyalets industrial estate in Santa Perpetua de la Mogoda, Barcelona (Spain). The new facility covers 12,000m², doubling the industrial and administrative area at the previous site. 280 employees work at the facility.

Requirements
The project centred on the interior architecture of the offices at the new facility.

Solutions
The M82 demountable partition system with visible profiling was chosen, taking into account its reusability potential should the company wish to make modifications in the future.
RAL 9006 was chosen for the visible profiling, natural wood for the panelling in the management area and an imitation beech wood finish for the administration area.
A surface area of 1,800 m² of M82 partitioning was installed.
