Project Izarbel Creacité is a technology centre located on the outskirts of Biarritz in southeast France. It consists of three 3,900 m2 buildings for projects involving innovative technology. The companies which lease space in the complex work in computers, electronics, robotics, image processing, telecommunications, etc.
Requirements The aim of the project was to distribute the interiors of the centre?s three new buildings, with an average of 20 individual offices, 5 conference rooms and 4 corridors per building. As the space is leased out, the prescriber required a solution which could guarantee a minimum acoustic insulation of 40 dB.
Solutions The demountable partition system with visible profiling M82 was chosen equally for its reusability and adaptability to the changing needs of leaseholders, as it was for its acoustic performance. Glazed modules were used to allow for natural lighting and to lend transparency. The separations between the different spaces, however, used blind modules to lend greater privacy and acoustic comfort. Trama finishes were used on the panelling and RAL 9006 on the profiling. |
